EVANGELIZATION
Evangelization is to bring the people into a relationship with Jesus. “Go into the whole world and proclaim the Good news to the whole creation” (Mk. 16:15). Jesus came to proclaim the good news to the world. The good news which Jesus brought and His mission is clearly expressed in Lk. 4:16-21. The most fundamental responsibility that He had entrusted to us is to continue this mission. Our founder was a zealous missionary like St. Paul his patron. So he started our Congregation as a missionary congregation. We the Samaritans also follow his good example of missionary spirit through our various apostolic activities, directly or indirectly we are witnessing Christ. Our missionary zeal must be in full accord with the action of the Holy Spirit. (Evangeli Nunciandi -75). Anything we do whether it is medical, social or educational it is a kind of evangelization.
